* EVENING RECAP BY HELENE SNIDER:
"MOVE OVER MATZA BRIE."
What a treat this event was! Hosted at the beautiful home of Denise Schaffer & after munching on some delectable's provided by Denise and Kreinie, we all sat eagerly waiting in the kitchen to meet the acclaimed cookbook author:
Jenny Kdoshim of "Matza 101"
AND much to our surprise, there are sooooo many things that can be made out of this besides matza & butter or matza & cream cheese! Right before our eyes, in just a matter of minutes, Jenny showed us how to make matza lasagna..YES! Then came fruit-filled-matza tortes...YES! Followed by matza trail mix, sweet or savory flavored, croutons, chips, baklava, canolie, taco shells and even matza candy! WHO WOULD HAVE THUNK IT!!
For those of us that attended, we were all wonderfully surprised. Some gals even brought along their books for a personal signing! Jenny was very entertaining and very humble. Her book is also in Hebrew and now being printed in French. We found the book on Amazon and Buy.com.
Again, what a joy it is to be part of this Very Special Women's Group!
